The first man on the moon was Neil Armstrong, who is still alive, now aged nearly 82.

Armstrong is a reclusive sort, and doesn’t usually do interviews, so when he does do one now it tends to make the news – see e.g. here.

The second man on the moon was Buzz Aldrin, Sc.D. (born Edwin Eugene Aldrin, Jr. in 1930, also 82). As yet, no woman has ever set foot on the moon. The most likely person will be Eileen Collins
