I do work very hard, but I do try and take time for myself. I have a tendency to be a workaholic, so I try and balance that with crafty stuff at home and spending time with my husband,
“When you love what you do, you never work a day of your life!”
I do really love what I do, so although I work a lot, it doesn’t feel like work.
I do also do many things outside of work: dancing, playing trumpet, playing sports, and teaching children science at schools !
I have two children, so I work normal hours and go home at 5.30 pm – and I don’t work at weekends. So I do have a life outside work.
After the kids are in bed I sometimes read scientific stuff, but more likely to be doing something relaxing. Could be talking to my wife about our days, watching football on the TV, writing something for a blog, playing chess with the computer or online, or playing the guitar, or just chatting online with my friends. I even get to go out sometimes!
