If I had all the power in the world then I could do it with my mind. I would like to make sure that everyone on the planet had access to sanitation and clean water (toilets and wells). At a stroke that would wipe out many waterborne diseases and save many lives. I’d also enable the world’s boys AND girls to get an education, so that they could then choose when to have their families and how many kids they want.

There’s so many things, sadly. All children to have basic sanitation, food, healthcare and education, like Kirsty says. Basic human rights for all is another. Getting people to take climate change (and specific things within that like wilderness and rainforest destruction) seriously is another. As to how… no idea. Like a lot of people, I donate money to charities seeking these kinds of objectives (Oxfam, Amnesty, Greenpeace etc), but it often feels like ‘a drop in a bucket’.
